What is the purpose of tithing?
Tithing is giving 10% of our first fruits to God through the local church. When we tithe, we are being obedient to the Lord's command, placing our trust in God who is able to provide for his people. Anything above the tithe is considered an offering, which can be given to missions, a person in need, or even your local church.
