Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
One of the tactics of Satan is to chain us to our past. If God has forgiven us then we should forgive ourselves. The heart has been cleansed, but Satan has attacked the mind, and chains of the past linger day after day.
The enemy feeds off the fact that you can't forgive yourself. The past has hindered you long enough; accept the forgiveness God gave you and release yourself from the chains that only you have the key to.
Stop letting the past have control over your life.
Christ died so that we might live.
