Clear Picture

Mark 8:24-25

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Is there a spiritual lesson to be learned from this story? Yes. This miracle is definitely different from most of the miracles in the Bible. Usually the person who is sick is immediately healed, but this time it was a process. If I had a choice I would take the immediate answer to my prayer rather than several steps to an eventual answer. However, everything isn't always a click of the heals or a snap of the fingers, sometimes it gets worse before it gets better and other times healing is a process.

Don't think God has abandoned you if the answer to your problem doesn't come quickly. I hope you would agree, He knows what's best. Healing takes time; learning to love again, or finding peace after losing someone is not an overnight task, be patient, trust the Lord's guiding eye. If I needed to drain a lake I wouldn't just blow the dam and allow all the water to be released at one time, this would be destructive to everything below the dam. I would drain the water little by little until it was all gone, this way its not destructive but it could actually be used in a beneficial manner.

Never forget everything is a process.
